I’ve shared my plan to bike up to Orlando in two days with a couple of people so far. Reactions are mixed but definitely salted with the typical “you’re crazy” tone. Not sure exactly which part of the trip idea is really so crazy though. In Le Tour de France, the cyclists do over a 100 miles a day for about a month. I’ve done 62 and 75 mile distances before although it can get a bit taxing, its definitely not too much of a challenge. Originally I was planning to do this for a shuttle launch in November and meet up with friends, having someone shuttle me back down - but I can’t seem to wait! (And I’ve got vacation time available now that I should take advantage of..)
Going to mull this over some more while I run six miles to my mom’s house, pick up my bike and ride back home.
